Dr. Ali Raad Hassan received his Ph.D. (2008) in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University- India. He graduated from University of Technology- Iraq in 1995 and 2002 for his Bachelor and Master degrees. Currently, he is a faculty member in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Technology- Iraq, he was a member in the Department of Materials Engineering, Collage of Engineering, University of Kufa- Iraq. Also, he was a Chief Engineers in the Ministry of Industry and Minerals- Iraq for 15 years. He had a position of a Head Department Students Abroad Affairs/ Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research- Iraq, and a Head of Training and Workshops Center/ University of Technology- Iraq. He supervised 5 Master students. He authored and co-authored nearly 20 papers published in high ranking prestigious international and local journals and conferences. His research fields focus on Mechanical Design, Gears, Vibrations, Stress Analysis and Invers Mechanical Engineering.
